Lovely Fit Women ladies only gym is a unique concept.

NO MEN. NO MIRRORS. NO CONTRACTS.

Not a conventional gym with cross-trainers, treadmills and lycra clad members. Just normal ladies like you and me.

Lovely Fit Women is a 30 minute non stop circuit; (3 times around is 30 minutes) 30 seconds on a jogging board mat, 30 seconds on hydraulic machine. There are 9 machines which exercise parts of the body. THIGHS, HIPS, BOTTOM, ARMS, LEGS, TUMMY, WAIST, BACK, BUST.

 The music is upbeat and an announcement tells you when to “move on” to the next machine or jogging board. Everyone moves together.

…..There is a great atmosphere at Lovely Fit Women. Everyone is made to to feel welcome. We are all ages, shapes and sizes. Moreover, as well as getting fit, we have a laugh and we are meeting other lovely ladies.

Eggs…Packed with protein, eggs are a great source of sustainable energy and help to keep you feeling fuller for longer. Two eggs provide you with your daily allowance of vitamin B12 which helps turn food into energy.

Green vegetables…Spinach, Kale, Cabbage, Sprouts, Broccoli and other greens are all packed with nutrients such as zinc and magnesium which are needed to create the energy molecule ATP in your body.

Sweet Potatoes…A good source of fibre which helps them release their energy slowly, sweet potatoes are also packed with vitamin C, Iron and Magnesium, making them one of the best foods to stop you flagging.

Oily Fish…Salmon, Mackerel, Sardines, Herring and Trout are all packed with Omega-3 fatty acids. These fats are essential and support your eenergy producing mitochondria. Try at least one portion per week.

Beans & Pulses…A great mix of protein and slow-release carbohydrates, beans & pulses help keep your blood sugar levels stable to provide energy to your body & brain.

Lean Meats…Beef, Chicken, Turkey, pork and Liver are all rich in coenzyme Q10 which is a nutrient involved in energy production in every cell in your body. Your levels of Co-Q10 decline naturally with age so try and get plenty in your diet.

Dark Chocolate…if you’re feeling really low, a square of dark chocolate (at least 70% cocoa solids) could be the perfect pick me up and leave you more alert.
